Welcome to Year 6!
In Year 6 we are taught by Miss Timms, Upper Key Stage 2 Phase Leader, and Miss Jones. Every morning, we are supported by Mrs Newman and Mrs O'Leary. Although there is a drive towards the end of key stage tests, teachers ensure the children are still having fun in their learning and getting involved in all aspects of school life.

As the oldest children in the school, Year 6 have more responsibility and more work to do! We encourage them to be good role models to everyone in our school. Members of Year 6 have the opportunity to become House Captains and lead by example for their teams.
It is also a very important year as the children are assessed in the summer term as part of the End of Key Stage 2 Assessments (Key Stage 2 SATs). These are formal tests which are taken under test conditions. To find out more about these, click the link below:
