Lillington School Association LSA

Lillington School Association (LSA) is an association of parents, staff and local people who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting to support Lillington Nursery and Primary School.

Objectives of the LSA

  • Enhance the education of the school pupils in all aspects, including – academic, athletic, social and cultural.
  • Enhance the pupils’ personal development, achievement and wellbeing.
  • Develop good working relationships between staff, parents and the wider community.
  • Promote the school and its reputation within the district and beyond
  • Enhance the school environment.
  • Relieve particular instances of need amongst the pupils

Funding

The LSA aims to provide the following funds to the school through academic year. All funding requests must meet one of the LSA's objectives.

£100 per class (total £1300)
£500 contributions to extra curricular clubs
£2000 towards resourcing the school library

Further discretionary funds will be available to improve participation in education where a child is demonstrably in particular need; for example, help with school trip payments or specific educational materials.
